November 6 - 16, 2018

O Jerusalem Jerusalem, 2018

Israel is now 70 Years Old! Happy Birthday Israel!

Yes, there is still time to come and celebrate!

Some of the already confirmed speakers for the "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem!" conference part of the tour in Jerusalem, on November 11 - 14, 2018, now include: International Revivalist Mel Tari (auther of the best-selling "Like a Mighty Wind"), Evangelist Christine Darg, CBN Reporter Chris Mitchell and Middle East expert Avi Lipkin. Other special guests who will be ministering to us here in November include Dr. Charlotte Phillips of the Washington DC area, Pastor Tom Hauser of North Carolina, Pastor Keith Anderson of Texas, Dr. Jose Pasqua of Houston. Intercessor Don Franklin of Florida, and a few more! At various times throughout the entire ten day Tour & Conference we will enjoy anointed worship led by Jerusalem-based Roy and Mary Kendall together with Sara Hauser and the wonderful worship team of Global River Church in Wilmington North Carolina!

Day 1 - Tuesday, November 6, 2018: Our Adventure Begins

We board our flight, heading from the United States of America (USA) toward Tel-Aviv, Israel.

Overnight: In flight

Day 2 - Wednesday, November 7, 2018: Arrive in Israel

Today we land at Israel's Ben Gurion International Airport, just outside Tel-Aviv. We'll be greeted and assisted at the airport by representatives of Jerusalem Eternal Tours (JET). We'll be transported from the airport by luxury coach, travelling north up to Tiberias, by the Sea of Galilee, where a dinner awaits us at our hotel.

Overnight: Tiberias, Club Hotel

Day 3 - Thursday, November 8, 2018: Explore The Galilee and Jezreel Valley

Following a scrumptious breakfast, we explore the Galilee region, of Israel's Bible-Promised and Eternal Jewish Homeland. In this area of Israel much of the New Testament takes place. We'll start the day by circling the entire Sea of Galilee in a clockwise direction. Along the way we will visit the Jesus Boat and then take our own unforgettable boat ride. God willing, we will have a special time of worship together on this famous lake and be led in a devotional time by Pastor Tom Hauser of North Carolina. Our next stop will be Tabgha (likely location for the miracle of loaves and fishes), worship the Lord Jesus at the top of Mount of Beatitudes (Sermon on the Mount location), discover ancient Capernaum together, and be served a delicious noon meal of St. Peter's fish at a lakeside restauant. In the afternoon, we will travel into the southwestern hill country of the Galilee, visiting Mount Carmel, this is where the Prophet Elijah had a dramatic confrontation with the False Prophets of Baal. We will then cross the famous Jezreel Valley, including a stop in Nazareth. We'll be back to our hotel in time for dinner. After dinner we will meet as a group in our hotel to hear a message on ''The Importance of Standing With Israel'' given by Pastor Keith Anderson of Texas.

Overnight: Tiberias, Club Hotel

Day 4 - Friday, November 9, 2018: Come, Let Up Go Up To The Mountain of The Lord!

Some will be fasting today, each one as the Lord so leds them. We need to check out early from our hotel, our first stop will be at the Jordan River baptismal site only a few miles from our hotel, where we will have a morning baptismal service for those who wish to be immersed. Then on to one of the famous cities of the Decapolis, Beith Shean, a masterpiece of archeological rediscovery into what a pagan Roman city looked like in the Mediterranean world at the time of Jesus Christ. After that we'll head down the Jordan Valley to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on planet earth, stopping along the way to visit Qumran, where the first of the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Next, we make our way to Masada, an elevated desert stronghold built on top of a high mesa - ascending by modern cable car to explore some of the amazing ancient ruins there, dating back to King Herod The Great. We proceed to the shore of the Dead Sea for some late afternoon ''floating'' on top of the saltiest waters on earth. We finally begin making our Ascent to Jerusalem - ''The City of The Great King'' (Psalms 48:2, Matthew 5:35), where we will spend the next 6 nights. God willing, we will enjoy a traditional Shabbat Dinner this evening at our hotel.

Overnight: Jerusalem, Ramada Hotel

Day 5 - Saturday, November 10, 2018: The City of Our Great King

A lot of walking is in store for us today! We enter the Old City by foot, as Christian Pilgrims, going inside the ancient walls of Jerusalem, located in East Jerusalem. Walking through The Lion's Gate, we'll see Bethsaida (the original Place of Grace, where Jesus did a wonderful miracle), then explore the basement ruins of Pilate's ancient Governing Palace (The Praetorium) arriving close to the very area (The Lithostratus) where Pilate would likely have sat in judgement over Jesus and where Christ would have picked up the cross for His painful walk from here to Calvary, less than 600 yards away. We'll then retrace some of those steps on the famous Via Dolorosa (Ways of Sorrows) through the narrow streets of Jerusalem's Old City. The last stations of the cross bring us to the ancient Church of The Holy Sepulchre. Next, we exit the Old City and head over to The Shepherd's Fields, just outside of Bethlehem, where Jewish Shepherds ''kept watch over their flock''. It was in this very area where the Gospel of Luke tells us, an angel announced the birth of Jesus! ''So it was, when the angels had gone away from them into heaven that the shepherds said to one another, ''Let us now go over into Bethlehem and see this thing that has come to pass, which the Lord has made known to us.'' (Luke 8:15 NKJV). After departing from The Shepherd's Fields we will drive a short distance into Bethlehem, to visit the Church of The Nativity, solidly identified by both history and Christian tradition as likely having been built over the ancient grotto/cave where the New Testament declares that The Lord Jesus/Yeshua was miraculously born to Mary/Miriam, His virgin Jewish mother. We'll be returning to our hotel in Jerusalem for dinner.

Overnight: Jerusalem, Ramada Hotel

Day 6 - Sunday, November 11, 2018: Worshipping The King in Jerusalem

Selah - We are purposefully slowing things down today by a tad, giving us some extra quiet time for spiritual reflection as we also prepare our hearts for a Glorious Spirit-filled Worship experience together later in the day. We take some time to visit Yad Vashem (Israel's Holocaust Memorial Museum), returning to the hotel by 1:30PM. From 3:00PM to 5:00PM we'll enjoy a special Sunday Service together at our hotel in Jerusalem. This evening, right after dinner, transporttion will be provided at about 7:00PM for any who wish to go do some shopping in modern West Jerusalem, on Ben Yehuda Street, a bustling outdoor pedestrian mall and shopping area.

Overnight: Jerusalem, Ramada Hotel

Day 7 - Monday, November 12, 2018: O Jerusalem, Jerusalem!

We begin this morning heading to the top of the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of Jerusalem from the east. We'll visit the likely location where He later ascended into Heaven and to which He will one day soon return! It was in this area of Jerusalem, near the Mount of Olives, that King David fled his capitol city, weeping for Absalom as he went (2 Samuel 15:30) and where Jesus likely taught His desciples the Lord's Prayer. We proceed to visit The Garden of Gethsemane. It was here, before His capture, that Jesus agonized in prayer as He carefully contemplated and then fully accepted the GREAT and FULL COST that now faced Him as He readied Himself for His Great Earthly Mission, to Redeem us by His Own Precious Blood upon Calvary's tree. From here, we will head to Gordon's Calvary/The Garden Tomb, which shows us an actual EMPTY tomb of a wealthy Jewish person from the time of Christ, lying empty, in a pristine garden setting. In this lovely area we will share The Lord's Supper together. Then we will visit David's Tomb on Mount Zion and the traditional site, just above David's tomb, of both The Last Supper meal and later of Pentecost! We continue to explore the ancient Cardo (which was the main commercial street of Jerusalem at about the time of Christ) and some areas of the Jewish Quarter, including the Herodian mansions of the Temple Aristocracy and The Temple Institute, where some Orthodox Jews (still only a minority) feel strongly that God is telling them to get ready to build soon the Coming Third Jewish Temple. In this area a decent ''falafel'' (fried chick peas with Israeli style salad and French fries, all shoved together into fresh pita bread, often called Israel's national ''sandwich'') can be purchased. This evening, our Conference - ''O Jerusalem, Jerusalem!'' begins at our hotel after dinner, from 6:30PM until 10:30PM.

Overnight: Jerusalem, Ramada Hotel

Day 8 - Tuesday, Novembr 13, 2018: All Day Conference and Gala Evening Banquet at Our Hotel in Jerusalem!

Breakfast as usual, then morning conference sessions in the hotel from 9:00AM to 12:30PM, with a coffee break at 10:00AM. There will be a buffet Lunch for everyone at 12:45PM, followed by afternoon sessions from 2:00PM to 5:30PM, wth a coffee break at 3:30PM. In the evening we will all gather for a Gala Banquet (a sit down dinner that will be served to us at our tables), from 7:30PM to 10:30PM.

Overnight: Jerusalem, Ramada Hotel

Day 9 - Wednesday, November 14, 2018: Special Knesset Convocation - Celebrating Israel's 70th Birthday!

We begin this day at the famous Israel Museum, visiting there The Shrine of The Book, Israel's official Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit, which honors Israel's National Number Treasure, The Bible!, Afterwards, we'll proceed outdoors to walk around the meticulously constructed and constantly updated Scale Model of Ancient Jerusalem as it likely looked during the first century (i.e., at the time of Christ). From here, we'll move as a group to just outside the main gates of the Knesset, Israel's Parliment Building - passports today are rquired for entrance. Inside the Knesset we'll gather in the Jerusalem Room for a special time of giving thanks to the Mighty God of Israel for the modern nation of Israel, a prophetic miracle! Some MK's (elected Members of Knesset) will address us here as a group, followed by a VIP reception. After the reception we'll head by bus straight over to the so called Dung Gate of the Old City, the closest access by foot to the Western Wall. At the Wall, men are invited to head to the left as women move to the right, going to seperate areas for a time of private prayer. Be sure to prepare your prayer requests ahead of time, along with names of those you wish to pray for. Be ready at this time to insert your folded up paper containing your prayer requests directly into the crevices of this famous Wall of Prayer. This particular location has sometimes been referred to as God's Post Office. After this, we will go back to our hotel for dinner.

Overnight: Jerusalem, Ramada Hotel

Day 10 - Thursday, November 15, 2018: One Last Full Day of Touring, then Shalom and Final Farewells!

We check out of our hotel after breakfast and begin our last day together in the Holy Land with a scenic drive through The Judean Hills, Israel's Biblical heartland, heading down toward the Elah Valley, David and Goliath country! From here, we'll continue to drive west to the shores of the Mediterranean Sea to explore te Roman ruins of Caesarea By The Sea, yet another amazing building project of Herod The Great. Later, we will stop in the Tel-Aviv area at a beach for people to dip their feet into the sea, then over to ancient Joppa. Here, we will see the site of Simon The Tanner's home, mentioned in the Book of Acts. In the early evening we'll celebrate a final farewell dinner together in Joppa. After dinner we'll be transferred to the Ben Gurion airport and prepare to board our flight home.

Ovrnight: In flight

Day 11 - Friday, November 16, 2018: Arrive Back Home

In flight, homeward bound, to our final destinations. As we all head back now to our respective homes, families, jobs and regular responsibilties we do so with MUCH thanksgiving in our hearts for all the powerful new insights the Lord has granted us during this special time together with Him, in His Beloved Land, the Miracle Land of Israel! We also will be taking home with us wonderful new experiences and memories, plus friendships that will last a life time. We pray that we will carry in or hearts a fresh hunger to study and appreciate the Bible as never before! We pray that the Lord will make His Word known to us from now on in a new and living way, and also reveal His wonderful and perfect will for each of our lives, Hallelujah!
